To paint makes it possible to reach the worlds of beyond the language. I am tracking the mysteries of light, of creation, in - at the same time - familiar and abstract environments. No ultimate goal, but a process which aims at making sensitive each step ahead in the knowledge of myself, of my relations to other people, of the world that surrounds me, all of which having their own "chiaroscuro".

My figurative work on the Marne river's banks grew richer, little by little, and led me to abstraction: it is also the light and its mysteries which I endeavour to share on the canvas, in a space where thoughts, feelings and sensations are deeply entangled.
